Your Role & Responsibilities
As the Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of our social media strategy. Your exemplary creative skills will play a pivotal role in enhancing Amazon’s online presence and engagement with our diverse customer base. Key responsibilities will include:
- Strategy Development: Design and implement a best-in-class social media strategy aligned with our brand objectives, enhancing our voice across various platforms.
- Content Creation: Craft engaging, impactful, and shareable content tailored specifically for different social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Community Engagement: Cultivate relationships with our online audience. Respond to comments, engage in conversations, and foster a community of loyal customers.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies. Utilize analytics tools to assess performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams including Marketing, PR, and Product Development to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to ensure Amazon remains a leader in customer engagement.
- Advertising Management: Oversee paid social media campaigns, optimizing for performance, return on investment (ROI), and overall engagement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Social Media Manager position will have a unique blend of experience and skills, including:
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms, developing content strategies, and analyzing performance data.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you should be a natural storyteller able to engage audiences creatively.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their analytics, and advertising solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
